We will create 4 Virtual Networks - VNETCloud, VNETOnPrem, VNETCloud2 & VNETCloud3 as shown below.
Virtual Network VNETOnPrem will represent on-premises Datacentre.
We will connect VNETCloud and VNETOnPrem using Virtual Network Gateway and S2S VPN over Internet connectivity.
We will connect VNETCloud to VNETCloud2 & VNETCloud3 using Virtual Network Peering. The peering connectivity will be over Azure Backbone Network.
VNETCloud Topology
Virtual Network VNETCloud will be our main Virtual Networks for all labs in all the Chapters.
We will create below Topology using Virtual Network VNETCloud. It will have Four Subnets - Web-Subnet, DB-Subnet, DMZ-Subnet and GatewaySubnet.
DB-Subnet, DMZ-Subnet and GatewaySubnet are not shown because of space constraint.
Students will create the topology as they progress through Chapter Labs.
Most of the Resources in this topology were created in Resource Group RGCloud.
Azure Portal was used to create resources in this topology.
VNETOnPrem Topology
Virtual Network VNETOnPrem will represent on-premises Datacentre.
We will create below Topology using Virtual Network VNETOnPrem. It will have two Subnets - OnPrem-Subnet and GatewaySubnet.
Virtual Machine VMAD will be created in Virtual Network VNETOnPrem. Following will be installed or enabled on Virtual Machine VMAD.

Lab Exercises using Azure CLI and PowerShell
Labs in Chapter 22, 23, 24 & 25 were done using Azure CLI and PowerShell. I used Azure CLI and Azure PowerShell Installed on my desktop.
Readers are requested to go through C hapter 21 Installing Azure PowerShell Module & Azure CLI before proceeding with labs using Azure CLI and PowerShell.
All Lab resources using Azure CLI were created in Resource Group HKCLI and Virtual Network VNETCLI.
All Lab resources using Azure PowerShell were created in Resource Group HKPS and Virtual Network VNETPS.
I did these labs separately from Lab exercises using Azure Portal. Readers can proceed as per their comfort factor with Azure CLI and PowerShell.
