PMI CAPM – Wrap up the Course
Hey, congratulations. You made it to the end of this course. That is some fantastic work that you’ve done. So I’m really happy for you. You’ve done something that many people have not done, and that is to just take this effort, to take this initiative and to complete the course and work towards passing your CAPM. And I’m really happy for you that you’ve done a lot of work. So thank you for your time and your participation. I know this is not an easy topic to spend hours and hours in, but you did it, and so I thank you for that and I thank you for your participation throughout the course.
Keep me posted how you did on the exam. Probably throughout this course, you saw other people post updates or how they did on the CAPM. So I’d really like for you to come back and to do the same. So it’s really important to me. I want to hear how you did, and other people want that encouragement of how you did when you passed the exam. And yes, I want you to leave a review of this course. If there is any reason why you want to leave less than a five star review, reach out to me and let me know.
Give me an opportunity to fix the problem, because if there’s something that’s not working for you, let me know what it is, let me help and let me fix it. So please leave a review, but let me know if there’s something that I can do to make that review even better. So I appreciate that. It’s really important to me and it’s important to other people as well. What’s important to me, though, most of all, is I want you to be happy with the course and I want you to pass the CAPM.
That’s my number one goal here, is you passing the CAPM. We did a lot of work in this course to work towards that goal of you earning the CAPM. So teaching what you must know to pass the CAPM was my first goal. I hope that I met it. I hope that you found the information that I shared with you is exactly what you needed to go on and pass the CAPM. So be sure to come back and let me know. Yes, you do receive 25 contact hours for this course. You can go out when you complete that CAPM application. This is where you will register and you will say that we are theinstructing. com is the education provider. This is the CAPM exam prep seminar.
And then, as I mentioned, the certificate, which is a resource, is valid only at the end of this course, when you’ve completed everything, including the final exam, the next lecture. So we spent a lot of time in this course. We talked all about how to earn the CAPM. Then we looked at the exam domains, the project foundations, we talked about the Pinbock, the 47 project management processes. And then we got into the really specific things.
Chapters four through 13 of the PMBOK integration, management scope, time, cost quality, HR, communications, risk procurement, stakeholders, ethics. And then we did a blitz. And then now, finally the course wrap, which will take us on to passing the CAPM. So I’m really happy for you. So thank you so much for your time and your attention, and I wish you all the best and earn earning your CAPM and all the best in all of your projects.
Hey, I’ve got a little bonus lecture for you. Piece of cake to look at. Just some good advice and information. If you like this course, maybe you want to take some other courses from me. I have a whole bunch of project management courses here. And so you can see I have these other courses. Once you earn your PMP or better, you have to start accruing PDUs. If you only have your CAPM, don’t let that slow you down. Maybe you want to take one of these to help in your career. So these other courses that I have, these are some of my most popular. You’ll see, I have a whole bunch if you just search for my name. But one that I like is the lifelong projects about using project management to reach your goals. Mastering Microsoft project.
So if you have Microsoft project in your role and you want some more help, this is one of my favorite pieces of software. It’s one of my favorite courses and I’d love to see you in there. We have a Master of the Pinbox Guide, fifth edition. This may not be a bad choice for you as you’re prepping to pass the CAPM because it walks through the entire Pinbock. It’s really fast. It just really nails down exactly what’s in the pinbox. It’s about 5 hours, maybe. Use Microsoft Excel in your role as a project manager. So here’s a course on how to do that. If you’re looking to go on to another certification other than the PMP, you might look at the PMI ACP, the Agile Certified Practitioner.
And so that’s another one of PMI certifications. I’m really proud of this course and it’s a good test and a good certification from PMI. As you move towards your PMP, you’ll know that I have a PMP exam prep very similar to this course you just completed. Or you might want to just go into the PMP exam cram. It’s a very condensed version of that course. That’s about 8 hours. And then I have emotional intelligence for project managers. If you’re a new manager, it’s important to understand your emotions and how to control those that the emotions that we have affect the emotions that other people have. So that’s a fun course as well. So there are a lot of courses here that I teach and I hope to see you in some other courses. Watch for my promotional announcements because about once a month I give a discount to one of my courses. I mean, a really good discount.
So plan accordingly. Just keep on the lookout for those. As you know, I’ve written several books. I have a PMP study guide, I have a PMP all in one book. And then the PMP exam prep participant workbook that we used in this course is also available on Amazon. And you’ll see I have some other courses. I have about seven books rather from McGraw Hill and the American Management Association. So if you’re really interested, you can find those on Amazon. Just search for Joseph Phillips and you’ll find me and my books. Or you can connect with me. Let’s connect outside of this location. So let’s hop out to Instructing. com. That’s a way to reach out to me. Twitter.
So follow my Twitter feed. I’m on Facebook. That I have a group on Facebook. Probably a thing that you want to join if you’ve not done so already, because it’s not all just me. People from all over the world come to this group and share news and ask questions. So it’s really not me. I manage the group, but it’s people, your peers and colleagues. And people give job postings in there or share articles or reviews, and it’s actually pretty cool. I’m really proud of it. So come out to Facebook and you see the address there, and you can join our group if you want to connect with me on LinkedIn.
There you go, that’s my LinkedIn address. And be happy to connect with you professionally. So a lot of different ways to reach out to me, and we can connect. Thank you very much. Most important thing here is I’m always humbled and flattered when people decide to take one of my courses, and so I’m glad that you did, and you’ve completed the course and you’ve given me your time, your energy, your money, but I really am thankful for that. I know there’s a lot of choices and a lot of resources, and so I hope it was worthy of your time and your attention and your energy. So thank you very much, and I wish you all the best in all of your projects.
